In 2018 I was able to participate in two exchanges. Women, Memory and Psychological Scapes was organized by Heather Leier and Meghan Pohlod, for the 2018 Southern Graphics Council International conference “Altered Landscapes”. There were 16 participants, with an assortment of techniques utilized. These women did a great job organizing the exchange, but also for the prints’ exhibition in several other venues!
Bastion was the second exchange, in which I created Innate Dual. This was an exchange I organized with my Intermediate Printmaking Students at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, perhaps the last printmaking exchange to take place in the Art & Design Department’s printmaking area. There was no theme and photopolymer had to be used. 11 students and myself participated, with one set going into the Print Archive. The students came up with the name Bastion, meaning a fortification, or an institution, person or place upholding particular beliefs or activities.

Tendency was part of Finger Prints, an exchange at the University of Alberta in 2014. Mirror Between Two Walls was part of an exchange organized by Wuon-Gean Ho called Distortion, which was shown at the Southern Graphics Council International 2015 conference. You can view the other works in the exchange at Wuon-Gean’s blog site. Window Cloak was part of the Haptic & Optic portfolio exchange, as part of the IMPACT9 International Printmaking Conference, held in Hangzhou, China in September of 2015.
