I was fortunate to be able to attend this year’s Mid-American Print Council (MAPC) conference co-hosted by Indiana University Southeast and the University of Louiville. It was a grand time seeing all the demos, panels, exhibitions and other events that I could handle. I was also pleased to find out I had gotten Honorable Mention in the MAPC Juried Member’s Exhibition. It was such a pleasure to meet some new printmakers and catch up with old friends.

I also wanted to announce to anyone who may be in the Madison, WI area to check out the Lowell Center, where in Process is currently being exhibited. This exhibition features members of the Alternography group from the Photomidwest – Center for Photography in Madison, and their work using alternative and historic photographic processes. I have some cyanotypes, liquid emulsions and a couple of photopolymer intaglio prints in the show, so check it out!
